Hi All,

Just uploaded textures for the Fox Four F-86E Sabre. These textures represent the F-86E Sabre, 51-2746, "Lady Frances/Michigan Center" flown by Col. Francis S. Gabreski of the 25th FIS, 51st FIW. He finished with 6.5 victories.
These textures are for the Fox Four F-86E Sabre and the aircraft can be found here:
http://www.simviation.com/lair/cfs2korea.htm under the Extras Section.
Modifications for this aircraft can be found at Tango Romeo's site:
http://bellsouthpwp.net/s/a/sanfordze/downloads.htm
This aircraft was also flown by Major William Westcott and was his assigned aircraft. Gabreski flew this aircraft for, at least, one of his victories. Gabreski's assigned aircraft was, F-86E 51-2740, "Gabby".
Thanks again for your support.

Looking very realistic Bob. Thank you very much. BTW I have a photo of of a 76 sqn (Black Panthers)RAAF CA-27 Sabre. Let me know if you want a copy.
cheers,
Mike

It's...

...my favorite of the ones you've done. :ernae:

Keep on keepin' on! :friday:

Hmmmmm........

Now if only "someone" could make it so the canopy around the windscreen could be painted............

Michael, Send it along, its all useful.

There's work....

Now if only "someone" could make it so the canopy around the windscreen could be painted............Bub

....involved now, is there? He wants a new MDL file! And here I am The Burnt-Out Case (Graham Green). :isadizzy:

I knew that I should have kept my mouth shut....they're never happy! Gimme, gimme, gimme. :banghead: (Sotto Voce) Time to open another bottle of Knob Creek.:friday:

If I do this thing, can you promise to keep the paint specks off the windscreen? :costumes::costumes::costumes:

Not if he's drinking Knob Creek!

For good Bourbon, I do enjoy Knob Creek, but lately I've found Bulleit Bourbon to be a pretty good sour mash. In fact, I may just have to go to the liquor cabinet now for a nip.

There are....

....a fairly large number of 'small-batch bourbons' produced by the Kentucky distilleries, all of which are certainly good. Each varies notably in taste depending on variations in content. Knob is just one of four produced by Jim Beam: Booker's, Baker's, Basil Hayden's and Knob Creek. :ernae:

If you visit the Bourbon Bar in the Talbot Tavern on the square in Bardstown, KY, you may spend an entire afternoon sampling all of those produced by the various distilleries....well it might take two afternoons depending on your level of tolerance. I try to spend one afternoon there each year in an attempt to 'maintain an even strain' when I return to Bardstown for my annual class reunion. :friday:

I hardly....

...and I don't drink... :bump:

....drink bourbon either. But I do sip it on a regular basis. :costumes:

So, Bub, you really want to paint the windscreen frame? (I'm surprised I did not fix that when I textured the main canopy frame so the pilot's name could be added.)

TR,

You guys talking about Bourbon made me dig out the Wild Turkey 101. Good sippin' whiskey.
Yes, TR, it would make doing future Sabres and CA-27's a little easier. No rush on this. Take your time and look to your well being first.
Must be tough with your workout schedule and all the "distractions".:costumes:
I'll have Parr's done soon and then McConnell's. Then I'll turn the rest over to OBIO to do his baremetal finish on them.
Thanks for considering doing this as it will help greatly.

....really just a half-hour's work to open the FSC file, map a texture to the part and produce a new MDL file. I'll get to it. It's just something that requires the proper mood. You know what I mean. :kilroy:

Wild Turkey, Rebel Yell, Jack Daniels, Makers Mark. Knob Creek....all my favorite sour mashes and bourbons. But the best of all is no longer available. It was called President's Choice (an 80 Proof that had to be consumed straight to be appreciated) and had to be bought by the barrel. It was bottled with your personal label and shipped in cases for a price of $1150...that was in the '60s, but was still inexpensive.:friday:

Thanks, TR. I'll pour a glass of Wild Turkey and toast to your good health.

This....

... here is Amurica and it's a dadblamed 'Buffalo', that's pronounced 'Bufferler'. It's only an 'American Bison' to 'furingners' and them Latin-speaking nerds over to the Museum of Natural History. You've got your regular Buffalo, your Water Buffalo and your Cape Buffalo....the rest don't count....cause we don't speak Latin and three's more'n enuff to keep track of. :friday:

Erufle, them boys in Kansas are gonna disown yah, iffen you keep up this left-wing, liberal, socialism agitatin'. And you ain't gettin' no political asylum here in the southeast neither. :kilroy:
