I have download Free-track and made a 3point light for my hat. I ran the Free-track program and my hat lights show up on the screen. But when I try to use it in cfs3 it does not do anything , Has anyone tried Free-track and got it to work in CFS3? I have read the manual but does not talk about this problem.:help:

This was discussed recently I think, may be worth searching the forum and the archive forum (the links in the sticky threads). It needs an extra file which can be had from the TrackIR site I believe, and it should work.

Pat :)

Think I'll give-up on free-track. Will try to get Trackir 4 pro . The whole package is not bad price. TY, Pat for your in Put.

I have it working

If you decide you don't want to give up now PM me your email address and I will send you my profile and other instructions.

Also you could come to my TeamSpeak server tonight. I will be working on preparations for the Around the World Race with some other Team Members. We could set it up then. My TS server is the address in my sig

NO LED's USED

This is my hat that I use. I used colored x-mas tree lites instead of LED's and a transformer input:120V output 7.5VDC. Adjusted the threshold and it works fine. (Clear and green lites will not work.)
TY for the help got it working in CFS3.

I must say, after flying with track I can see how difficult it was to be a fighter pilot and be come an Ace before we got lock-on weapons in our modern airplanes. If you would like a real sim experench you have to use some type of trackir. Its like having a brand new flight sim.

When I first put this hat together I used a lot of elec. tape I have made some changes. I have used elec. wire ties and Gorilla Glue to weld the wire hat clip together.

Are you up & running with this Flyer? I've decided toi have a crack at it too.

one thought I had (doesn't happen very often!) ....if you can pan around in cfs3 with this sort of software, then mouse panning must be possible too??

Pat I use this all the time. Never fly with out it. I like to fly inside the cockpit of all the planes. I use the 2dof reather then the 6dof. got the 2dof at http://forum.free-track.net//index.php?showtopic=23
