I really want a 737 with systems programming (I've got some other 'tubes' I got for cheap with systems - but the only plane I ever wanted was a 737, the rest can scram. Over all, I'm firmly a GA guy.). Unfortunately, I am a college student - or more accurately, a broke college student. I can't even pay for my books until my next paycheck comes in!
So, I want to know if somewhere in the wide world of FS, there is a freeware 737 with an FMS/FMC that has escaped my notice. (I'd also like an F-16. The VRS F-18 is a candidate for great warplane, but I only ever wanted a nice, up-to-date F-16. Kirk Olssons models are nice, but they are showing their age.)
Are those things in existence? Anywhere? At all?

I'm a big fan of the Moach 737 and that panel mentioned above. I've done a fair number of paints for it as well. Search "hoopes" on flightsim.com. (have a lot still I need to upload...)

JHoopes,
I have to say you do EXCELLENT work! :ernae:
I love the Moach 737 in your Star Alliance Livery (and most others; but the Star Alliance is my favorite)
Keep up the good work!:applause::applause:
...And if you need to upload any other repaint for this fine aircraft I won't stop you (wink wink nudge nudge):kilroy:

Being a fan of the Boeing 737 , I thought I'd give the Moach 737 a try out.

It's good, but my VC does not have very clear gauges.

How do you guys who fly the Moach version find the VC ?

Thanks for your feedback.

Pete.

Hey Pete,
What I did was to make the following changes to the panel.cfg file:
[VCockpit01]
size_mm=1024,1024
//pixel_size=1024,1024
pixel_size=2048,2048
texture=$panel
background_color=0,0,0
visible=0
...
[VCockpit02]
size_mm=512,512
//pixel_size=1024,1024
pixel_size=2048,2048
texture=$autopilot
background_color=0,0,0
visible=0
...
[VCockpit03]
size_mm=512,512
//pixel_size=1024,1024
pixel_size=2048,2048
texture=$console
background_color=0,0,0
visible=0

I commented out the original pixel size line and when I re-typed the line I doubled the numbers to 2048. It's likely not the best solution but it works with me. I hope it helps.
FWIW you can use the same panel.cfg file on the POSKY 737 (the -700 with VC) as well. Unfortunately that one is absolutely brutal on my computer (framerate-wise; I believe it's the 32-bit textures)

He certainly does. :medals::icon29: Ken Mitchell does a good Panel too.
