Freeware at it's best...coming soon!!!!

I see what you mean about the details BrianG and those ribs and riblets look great. I presume it has those lovely 3D gauges as well (as seen in the great Beaufighter)? It sure looks like it does in the VC screenshot.

Now, I'm off to buy a hat. Looks like I'll need one with that glass roofed cockpit.

I am reliably informed that there will be a layered .psd PK in the final release as well. :applause:

Here are a couple more shots of the VC.

Apologies for the attitude of the aircraft...I wanted to get the light on the dash.....:isadizzy:

This VC is just superb...everything works from the toe brakes to the cables and pulleys. :applause:

One of my favourites. I have the full set of the Dave Molineaux (hope I spelt it right) Austers with a few Aussie paints.

Been through Airliners.net and found heaps of repaint ideas for this one.

Hope Dave is going to do the full suite of Austers, right up to the 6.

Cheers
Pat

I want this craft badly. Wonderful work, kudos to the designer.

This the perfect type to enjoy flying out of UK2000 series of airports, and choose the smaller ones only.

Dave did at one time state that the J1 is the one and only Auster he intends to make....other projects on the 'to do' list would most probably preclude any further Austers.

I think he has done an absolutely incredible job on this one and with modelling of this quality....anything he makes next will be ok with me. :ernae:

For those people looking for other Austers, have a look at Dave Molyneaux's wonderful Autocrat, Autocar and AOP.6 at http://www.classicbritishfiles.com.

All have been modelled on actual aeroplanes and I've been told port over to FSX quite well.

For anyone interested in what an Autocrat looks like in real life, here are a few of G-AIRC taken earlier in the year.
