• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Freeware Whiteman AFB from Top Mach

Top Mach Studios has released a nice update to NickB's freeware Whiteman AFB to add more detail in support of their B-2 release.

You can find the download link on their Discord.
A short summary of key features:
  • Accurately modeled hangars with Spirit of X logos on the hangars
  • Control tower modeled after Whiteman AFB tower
  • Static T-38 models with WM markings
  • Upgraded aircraft parking sun shelters
  • Full night lighting on hangars and exterior lights
  • Parking spots in hangars
  • Automated door animations triggered by battery switch and engine on status
  • Revised / more accurate taxi lines, signs, and markings
  • Additional buildings
  • Additional static aircraft models
  • Custom pushback tug (modeled after those used at Whiteman)
  • Static ground equipment from our B-2 model file placed throughout the scenery
  • Various other upgrades and enhancements to the scenery

Some of my shots (note that this is the Kwikflight Spirit, not theirs, as I already had that and, while theirs is obviously dramatically more detailed, I don't need multiple B-2s.)
