Friday Night Mission....New Effects

Guys,

Those of you that will be flying on line with us this coming Friday night will need to get my November Update package installed prior to game time.

Groundhogs, please pull the package labeled "Final November Update" loaded today on our FTP.

Non Groundhogs please email me if you intend to fly and I will get it out to you. It will be available to the public 11/1.

The package contains;
1. New effects file
2. New ETO flak, 37mm flak, 20mm flak, 40mm flak, Wirblewind, Ostwind, German train guncar all with the new golfball tracers. Eto flak now has illumination feature when it explodes.
3. Extensive ship package with all new golfball tracers
4. New vehicle (37mm AA Gun)
5. New facilities
6. New English Fog weather
7. New red and gray ranging flak
8. New guns and shells
9. New Orange tracer FX texture
10. New smoke drum
11. New test missions to become familiar with the new flak and weapons.

We have some heart stopping missions planned with lots of action and fireworks. Game time as usual at 7:30 CDT.

:kilroy:O-1 Driver, you know I'll be there. I'll also spread the word around about the November Updates. Yeeeeeehaaaaaaaaaaw! We're gonna see some real mischief now!:d
 
Lock and Load guys,

Here are some screenshots from our first mission Night Coastal Patrol. Pretty much a milk run. Aircraft dropping flares and sky full of ship AA tracers. You can see the smaller dirty gray bursts from the 20mm guns vs the black bursts from the 37mm and 40mm guns.

Second Mission: It is Sept of 1943 and the Allies have the Germans boxed in on the Northern corner of Corsica.

US Fighter bombers are hitting the airfield located there along with transports and vehicle convoys.

Air cover is being supplied by the Royal Navy Sea Hurricanes from their carrier off shore. We will be using the Land Hurricane in ETO as a stand in for the Sea Hurricane not in ETO yet. It will land at less than 100 mph and is perfect for carrier operations.

Our best pilots will be flying these carier based aircraft as they have to land back on their carrier at mission end.:d
