FS-Cast B-17G New Release

Warhorse here is a copy of Air Edit. It's free for everyone. Robert
Thanks much. Got it installed and did the edits as suggested. Still no change, meaning I'm unable to turn more than a few degrees. Strange. Will keep looking at my changes and make sure something else is not interfering.

Just to make sure... I ran the AirEd.exe file as administrator, changed the setting for the tailwheel, saved the file and checked it to make sure it saved correctly. I'm not sure what the AirUpdate.exe file does, so I didn't touch it. Still have to read the instructions I guess.

Warhorse what joy stick are you using? I have the old Microsoft Sidewinder Forcefeedback 2. I have my brake pedals assigned to my trigger button so I can modulate the differential brakes while turning the plane twisting my stick on the ground. Anyway here are my contact points. Match mine to your's to see if they are the same. Robert

Also Warhorse when doing your turns switch to outside view to see if your tail wheel is moving along with your rudder. Before I did the mods to mine the tail wheel did not move. Like it was locked or something. Also on the Air Ed update it just adds some more data to edit. I can't remember if I updated mine. Robert

All the settings in your post #42 are there with a couple exceptions. I cleaned up the contact points and renumbered them accordingly. The steering_time_constraints= entry was missing, so I added it and will test it this morning.

My rudders and brakes are controlled by CH Pro pedals. The tailwheel does turn as expected, but the aircraft turn radius is still very tight as if the tailwheel lock is permanently on.

We'll see how things go after my morning coffee.
