FS KBT Orion, questions about engine rpm at idle, and reverse thrust...

I finally got around to reinstalling this gem of an aircraft this evening, but need to modify a couple things, if possible.

The rpm at idle must be too high, because as soon as I release the parking brakes, the aircraft starts rolling faster than it should. Yes, the brakes stop it ok, but something ain't right.

My reverse thrust works, but it seems to be intermittent. By that, I mean it will engage, but it does not hold. I need reverse thrust to stay on until I push the throttle forward, and that is not happening.

Any help?

I don't have the Orion but with most turboprops you have to retard the "Condition" levers to at or near the Low (Ground) Idle setting for ground ops then control the amount of thrust produced with the "power" (pitch) levers. When ready to take off, advance the Condition levers to spool up the gas generators and then advance the Power levers to increase the pitch.
AFG had a great little tutorial which I have printed but can't find online right now.

As for the reverse, how are you applying it? F2 key or some other assignment?

Thanks. I figured out how to fix the reverse thrust problem. Yes, am using the F2 command (assigned to throttle button). Not checking on fixing idle rpm.

Can you tell us how you sorted the reverse thrust?.Mine did work well wihen i bought aircraft such as the MD-11 and Twotter but it has since packed in.
