FS2004 models showing showing 'squished' in sim

While lamenting (briefly) that Piglets CV-10 did not work in FSX,there was a comment from Reddog that it did work in FSX SP1. With some FS models, they show fine in the menu, but come up in sim 'squished'. That is to say, the aspect ratio is screwed up, half a screen showing and the image distorted,one being the CV-10. am I missing a fix, or how do you fix that? Can it be fixed. Some are quite bad, a real silly putty effect, others are almost usable, only being an eighth squashed or so.
 
look in the panel folder
open the panel cfg
it should be similar to this

Now, does that fix the whole thing, or just the panel/cockpit, Henry?

Thanks Henry.I'm still an FSX noob, only a few months of smashing my head against it. Getting the CV-10 back online will really make my week. Heck, its been a great sim week, andI have'nt even unpacked the new Huey yet!
 
Another way to fix it is again in the panel cfg file at the very botom u will usually find this:
[Default View]
X=0
Y=0
SIZE_X=8191
SIZE_Y=6144//3586

changing the SIZE_Y= figure to 6144 will also fix it . This is what I did with the CV-10.

Reddog, thanks for planting the bug.I've have been looking all over the place for a fix for that. I've figured that if I can get it to show in the menu, there should be a way to get it to display properly.
