FS2004 + Windows 10 + Decade old laptop = Bad idea?

The title should say alot. Basically after installing FS2004 to a flash drive (my laptops painfully slow, i wanted a drive i can pull to install payware to that install EG: the IRIS F4 Phantom without waiting the 2-3 minutes it takes just to pull up file manager under Windows 10) i get a "Aircraft Initilization Failute: P51 2 Seater" error at start up, it goes to black like its trying to load full screen, and then a FS2004 has stopped working error. Back when this laptop had Windows 7 x32 on it i never had a single bit of issue despite the laptop being a total pile of ****. Hell i ran 720p maxed even (Not impressive unless you know how this laptop LIKES to perform). Note i haven't installed any payware as i havent been able to get the damn program to run to get base benchmark results before i decide wether or not payware is a good idea on this machine.

The laptop is:

Windows 10 x32
Intel Core2Duo T5200 @ 1.5GHZ with SSE2
Intel GMA X3100 128MB shared memory
1GB DDR2 (1x1GB)
7200RPM 160GB HDD with 8GB Free
8GB Flash Drive with FS2004 @ 11MB/s Read speed

Not sure what the hell is going on, no good reason for it to give aircraft initilization errors on a clean install. Anyone here ran across/figured out the cause of this problem?
