FS9 prop textures in FSX

Some FS9 planes port beautifully to FSX with the one exception being that their props don't look right. I'm thinking particularly of the PMDG Beech 1900C. The props will disappear in front of clouds or the transparency is all wrong. Is there a way to fix an FS9 prop so that it functions correctly in FSX?

Not perfectly, but you can change the alpha channel color to near black (like 10,10,10) it will be less visible. 0,0,0 makes it invisible.

Thanks (love your D18S, btw). How would you adjust the alpha channel? Would you do that in Photoshop or use some other tool?
