FSAddon Closing Shop!

Sad news indeed.

With the advent of MSFS, I think we will see more shops calling it a day. Kind of a nice clean break in any case.

Sad to hear.

I wonder what's the cost or effort to convert to MSFS development. At FSDeveloper, the MSFS tag is buzzing around like mosquitos. How do these guys do that?

Sad but true, they did a lot of really good stuff, like the Avro Anson, the Bristol Freighter and the Lockheed Hudson. As Francois said, better make sure you have your copies of your downloads, license keys etc because as the server goes off line that will be it. Interesting that their sales dropped to zero with the arrival of MSFS, not surprised but then again have not seen anything worthwhile developed for MSFS either and at that I am not surprised either.

Anyway thanks Francois and others you left some gems behind!

Talking of gems.... I just took the Waco YMF's for a spin. Men, they are good!
If you do not have the Waco package I suggest to grap while you still can!

Sad news. Definitely enjoyed Francois' creations.
Just grabbed the Hudson and Bristol freighter to fill out my collection of FS Addon goodies.

Thanks for all of your efforts Francois, much appreciated!
Enjoy your retirement!

Cheers, Bernard

Sad to see FSAddon go.

I swore I didn't need anymore aircraft in the hanger but I just had to grab the Bristol Freighter while I could.

I guess there won't be a paintkit done now. Too bad this is a model that is crying out for more nice outfits to wear.

Just wondering how this affects future reinstalls. e.g. I have Van+ for FSX (and FS9) by them, does the serial number want to go off and check with home before allowing install or is it one that is built into the install *.exe file?
