FSSW60 gone silent

I have been trying to transfer my EditVoicePack setup from FS9 to the other FS installations I have on my "F" drive. After looking up another thread here on SOH, I saw some advice stating I could transfer the "USEnglishBig.gvp.evpORG" file from the "Sound" file in the sim that already had it to the "Sound" file in the sim I wanted to install EVP in (FSSW60). I did that and now do not have any ATC/pilot voices to choose from; that selection under the "Options" pull-down menu is gone. The sim is mute now, whether "USEnglishBig.gvp.evpORG" is there or not. All other sounds work fine. However, when the ATC dialog box is displayed, it is obvious the speech is passing rapidly between my aircraft and ATC, and other aircraft and ATC. How do I go about getting the voices back? Also, is it necessary to reinstall "USEnglishBig.gvp.evpORG" in place of "USEnglishBig.gvp," which normally comes with the sim?:icon_eek:

The file extension has to be .gvp the file you copied over is the backup file that EVP created during the process.
In that same folder you should have a USenglishBig.gvp file with the same date and time as the org file. That's the one you want.

I updated EVP in the Bevelstone folder this morning, and enabled the "accelerate" option after doing so. After I did that, I got my FSSW60 ATC back.

In the FS9 sound folder, I have "USEnglishASOS.gvp" and "USEnglishBig.gvp.evp.Org." In the FSSW sound folder, I have "USEnglishASOS.gvp" and "USEnglishBig.gvp."

FSSW60's speech is back, however, it is at the regular rate, not accelerated.
