Hi,

Are there anyone here that use FStramp that are experiencing an FPS hit using it? I loose about 10 FPS when using it.

Dag, I no longer use FSTramp. . .I dropped it after the Developer decided to start charging yearly for the privilege. I had used it every single day from the time it was first released up until I dropped it and I never saw any change in FPS, certainly not the number you're seeing.

I used FSNavigator for many years, like you did, then went on to PlanG, then ventured to FSTramp, I even signed up for one year. Now I see it eating PC resources and I went straight back to PlanG. And with that, I am very happy, just takes a bit of time to get used to :)

Have used FSNavigator for a long long time. Despite the new tariff politics, finally decided to go on with the successor, and could not notice any particular negative effects at my side, should it be before or after changing my computer...
What are your hardware specs?

Hi,

I am very happy with plan G but anyways:
i7-6700K
16 GB DDR4 RAM
GTX 980Ti
500GB SSD for P3D

FSNavigator with FS9 was brilliantly implemented imo. FSTramp came late to the scene largely due to his unfortunate illness so he sort of missed the boat. It was not so well implemented from what I could see anyway. I went with Payware with FSX namely Aerosoft's FSCommander which graphically is not so pretty but functional. Then PlanG arrived free and very good, but I find it quite unstable and it frequently crashes. It seemed more stable in the days before the map supplier got mean. Now I use LittleNavMap which is brilliant, free and most importantly, stable. Also use Aivlasofts EFB which is superb. None of these three have I tried with P3Dv4 yet I have just realised. Must get on that and see if they work. But right now I am engaged in understanding Chase Plane which is not related of course but quite a marvelous program.

FSTramp obviously came very recently to V7, covering from FSX to P3D4 and including XP 11.10 and above.
At my side, no FPS hit, but I limit them to 30 as I am flying MP nearly each week and do not want to overflow the servers with my data. LittleNavMap seems very promitting, and works also flawless under P3D4, displaying MP aircrafts etc...
Apart from the tariff politics, I like FSTramp very much, as I have been using FSNavigator for years, and because it is running inside P3D. But LittleNavMap seems to actually be a "killer"
