Hi

I am not sure if I'm posting this in the right section, so if I am not, my appologies.

A few months ago while I was trying to install the VRS Superbug, I had to install FSUIPC, which somehow conflicted with my AI Carriers. After extensive research and possible solution list (I've tried everything I have found, installing an earlier version of Java, etc) the only thing that worked to the effct of allowing AI Carriers menue to reappear was a certain little .cfg file edit. I have found that solution as a post in some forum somewhere, and I unfortunately didn't bookmark that entry and cannot find it anymore.

Before finding that solution I have uninstalled FSUIPC and the Superbug completely. I personally don't care so much about the Superbug or the Tacpack, but since the next update for Dino Cattaneo's F-14D is goona require the VRS package, I will have to install FSUIPC again, I would love to find out what that beforementioned soultion was again, hence which .cfg file does need editing? Other solutions didn't help me.

Does anyone has any info on that? I would very very very much appreciate it, I want to get all that working properly before the F-14D update release, which is kinda imminent from what I've heard.

Thanx
cheers

It was surely a problem with the EXE.xml file, which contains the list of DLLs and programs that FSX should launch automatically on startup.
That file is located in the same folder as the FSX.cfg file. It should contain some lines concerning AICarriers, and the path written in there should be verified.
Also, there are sometimes user who need to edit some file named "localhost" or something like that. A search on the forum should tell you more about it...

I've been using AICariers2 and FSUIPC (and VRS FA18) for years, with no issues. As above, I would also check your exe.xml file
