FSX Compatable Aircraft for P3D

I have a question/suggestion is there anyone keeping a list or could we start a list of FSX aircraft that are functional and those that are non-functional in P3D. For example it would be nice to know if anyone out there has tried has tried Jens Kristensen's aircraft. There are a lot of great aircraft out there that may or may not work, it would be nice to know before downloading or digging through a ton of CDs if an aircraft has already been tried and failed. Is there someone already doing this or is it just an impossible task ?

I guess I can chime in here. I don't know of any published list. At one time I had decided after testing quite a few, that any "Native" FSX aircraft (especially payware) worked very well in P3D. Having said that, I have run across some native FSX airplanes that, for one reason or another, don't do well. I still feel that the majority are fine. Like you suggested though, there are so many by now, that it would be a daunting task that no one seems ready to tackle.

Instead of those that do, and there are quite a few, how about a list of only those that have problems in p3d (state 1.x or 2,x)

I agree with what Falcon said and will only add a few things.

There´s been many lists and they are pretty useless. Many posters didnt make a full test of the AC. Often, it was install, ctrl+e, hell, yeah, cool its perfect. You know what I mean. maybe they they didnt test the speed bug settings etc.

I have only tested 1 Jens Kristensen AC, the DC-4. It works, but there are no clickspots in the virtual cockpit. You cant tune the radios etc. This is a typical P3D behaviour when using FSX AC imported from FS2004. The general rule is that they wont have clickspots.

This is indeed a daunting task, expecially with all the different versions of P3D floating around.
There is a very useful "P3D master compatibility list", which lists sceneries and other add ons as well, in the avsim p3d forum:

Seems to be that AVSIM is not accessible in the moment, so I can't give an exact link.

Cheers,
Mark
