FSX.exe and FSX.Config file

I need a little help I have not found these files and I tried using windows search with no luck here can anyone point me in the direction please

OS - Vista 64 (x86)

The FSX.exe - C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Microsoft Flight Simulator X
The FSX.cfg - C:\Users\your name\AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\FSX

Remember that these are hidden files, I'm using Vista 32-bit

That did it....I just needed a thup in the head

Now next question in my month long effort to get my Sibwing Saab Safir working what does it do to FX if I do the following

"Please, try to check if Compatible mode is enabled for FSX.exe. (right click on FSX.exe -> Properties)
If yes, disable it and try to fly Safir." suggested at Sibwing forum

Well, I run FSX ( and the Safir)with compatibility mode unchecked and without problem.
