David, Thanks for uploading this GREAT F4. I have waited a long time for this bird. So much better than the old Alpha port over. Now if we can get some of the outstanding painters from this site to do some USAF and Navy skins all will be right in my sim world!!!!

Looking good.....however there's a Roo on the RAAF bird who obviously wants to be back at the pub .....he's heading off in the wrong direction...

This certainly is a very welcome addition to the stable. I'm using it in Prepar3dV3. Just one question how do you make the exterior fuel tanks and ordnance appear?

Since the exact model of F4 isn't mentioned and there are umpteen versions out there, I'm guessing it's the one that requires the T-2 VC incorporated into it. If I'm correct, then I have a question. . .if not then ignore the question.

In the external view, framerates are around 40fps. . .in the VC they are similar but there is also a "serious" stutter going on, to the point that it will stick. . . .then move. . .then stick and then move again. It's continuous and makes flying in the VC almost impossible. Does anyone else have this problem? No it doesn't happen with any other airplane, only this one. I am using TrackIR_5 and it also works perfectly in all other airplanes except this one. Sooooo, any thoughts?

A few other observations on the F4 that may or may not be the one I think it is, lol. The canopies on the F4 were Pneudraulicaly operated (basically compressed air/hydraulics). . .not electric as the canopy open/close sound on this model would suggest. The canopy frame on the interior is black. . .after checking, it appears that the texture for that is part of the fuselage texture for the T-2. Has anyone found a workaround/fix for that?

Looking at the checklist, this is the IRIS F-4 Phantom FG.1. One model, so whatever that included, that's what you have to work with.

VC fps is smooth on my FSXA system. Have you tried the T-2 and compared the two? I will keep the frame black as it reminds me which VC I am in! But could you put the T-2 textures in the Phantom folders to show on the frame? Some external tanks would be nice too! Was there another model file I wonder?
