FSX Issues.

FSX has been having the following issues:
Offline:
There is no menu bar.
Right-clicking on the screen doesn't work.
Every so often it crashes, don't have the problem name/signature down today.
Online:
Takes five or six tries to log in to GameSpy, usually instantly boots me or waits a second to boot me.

I do not have acceleration, I am using gold and have updated to SP2.

Well the first issue is that as I understand, Gold is FsX + Acceleration so if you have installed SP2 over Acceleration, this may have caused problems.

You should request a new disk, because a corrupt FsX Gold is only going to cause many problems.

Well I don't think its the disk, this only started recently. Should I try uninstalling my recent freeware?

On the top menu bar, tapping the ALT key will bring up the menu bar, and holding ALT key for 2 seconds should make it disappear.

If you have changed the screen resolution (on perhaps a laptop), then you may have hidden the menu and bottom of the screen over the edges of visibility. Try different resolutions. This is 'if' you have changed your resolutions lately.
