FSX Migration Problem

I have successfully completed a migration to a new computer, except for FSX. When I try to run FSX, I get the following error: The MSXML4 Sp2 component is not installed. Please reinstall Flight Simulator to
restore or repair this missing component. Has anyone run into this before. I have done migrations in the past and never experienced a problem.

Hi Folks

Dex -
MSXML4 is a prerequisite component for FSX to run.

Click here to download the current version MSXML4 SP3

MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 3 (SP3) is a complete replacement of MSXML 4.0, MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 1 (SP1) and MSXML 4.0 Service Pack 2 (SP2).

Thanks for the reply Paul. I had previously installed the current version of MSXML4 and there was no change in FSX. I continue to get the same message when trying to start after and install. I did try to clean FSX from the registry but I probably still have something in there that's causing the glitch. I'll keep trying. I was hoping that someone knows of a registry hack that would cure the problem.

I have not run that but will give it a go, at this point I will run anything that gives a glimmer of hope.
