FSX Pop-up Gauges and Shift+ Num not operational?

Les Parson

Members +
Greetings,

Using FSX in VC with the Matrox TH2GO and three monitors, I am unable to activate any pop-up gauges or use the Shift+ (NUM) function with success. A gauge will attempt to display for a fraction of a second and that's it. this is true of all aircraft i regularly use - RealAir Duke, Carenado's, etc.

Pop-up gauges and/or Shift + (NUM) work fine in FS9.

If someone could recommend some display and/or FSX.cfg setting recommendations, I would be most appreciative.

Specs:

i7 940 3.8 OC
6 GB RAM
Nvidia GTX 285 1GB - latest driver installed.

I have the same hardware setup without losing this functionality in FSX, so it's probably not the hardware, but more likely something to do with your keyboard configuration.

Mr. Les Parson,
I use Digital TH2Go with (x3) 42" inch screens and ALL my SHIFT + "Num" keys bring up the gauges and work fine. I'm thinking that something is corrupted on your setup...:kilroy:

Hope you can get it fixed; Good Luck!

Thanks for the information. I dread the thought of once again un-installing/re-installing FSX. I'm not sure if there is a limit on FSX re-installs or not.

-I enjoyed your pictures!
