FSX SB4 disconnection

hey guys im on FSX and using SB4, I am not running SB4 as a module, i am running it externally as a seperate aplication. im constantly getting disconnected. any way to fix this? I have asked on the SB forums but im trying to ask on various forums to get as many responses as possible.

FSX SP2
Windows XP SP2

just got done with an LAS - LAX flight and i got disconnected 6 times. any thing i can do?
