FSX self shadow problem

I have noticed that some of the addon aircrafts have problems with the self shadow, I am sure there is nothing wrong with the aircraft itself, but FSX acting up. Is there a way to fix it?

By using this program to adjust the view radius I have been able to tweak my projects so that they don't suffer that fate.

I've found that this only happens at zoom level 1.50 and in flyby/tower view.
