• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Does anyone anticipate another FSX SE sale ? I know it's kind of a shot in the dark . I really missed out on picking it up when it was $5 . I fully intend to keep P3D v2.5 but I sorely miss a lot of the older war scenery (Vietnam War Project and a few WWll ) that don't work well with P3D . I'm guessing Direct 9 vs 10 & 11 . Don't really know . I thought about having a bare bones FSX SE setup with possibly adding FTX Global , a weather program and a few others . From what I've been reading their are a lot of P3D owners who also have Steam loaded too . It seems to be getting more popular as time goes on . Anyway I can't see purchasing FSX SE at $24.95 when I've bought a couple of original versions in the past . Looks like I may have a long wait if it doesn't go on sale for awhile . :untroubled:

There's no way to be sure about it, but it's probably going to happen again.
I mean, it has been on sale at 5 dollars twice already (when it was released, and then again a few weeks ago), so why not a third time ? :)
