FSX SU-27 Update??

Hey guys, awhile back, I saw a thread with gorgeous pictures of an SU-27 in development, I was wondering if there were any updates to this project...

Yes, I am one of the Beta Testers in the project. There were some delays but rest assured the project is moving towards completion and release before long. I actually have the first release candidate in sim now it is looks great and flies great. A lot of hard work has gone into this model by the Developer, the FDE Modeler, and the Beta Testers helping beat out the dents so to speak.
If all goes well, the model will be ready after a few final tweaks. Keep an eye out!

free/payware? Sorry if it's a "D'oh" question,

Definitely payware. One thing everyone will enjoy, this is the first SU-27 model/fde that I have flown that will actually perform the Cobra maneuver! It's pretty close to real thing in that regard.
Lots of work went into the fde!

It flies VERY well. the FDE creator is a wizard. The systems are very nice, fully IFR capable, great VC. It will be payware worth buying.

Has the external texture mapping changed; can we still use previous FS9 repaints. If not, it's not a big deal; just wondering.

Рада видеть тебя.

Здравствуйте, cпасибо, хорошо. Сколько лет, сколько зим! Сколько это стоит? Удачи! Большое спасибо за информацию.

Nice aircraft views, too, just looks like fun time.

I just noticed one thing that might be missing, although I'm not 100% sure, the cabin pressure gauge to the right and below the fuel gauge in that empty space near the red lever, but that might not have been in every aircraft, I'm not certain...

I have several photos of different SU-27's and some have the gauge in the location you mention and some not. I do not know if that means the differences are from one production block to another or MSIP upgrades.

As for the model, as Mark indicated over at the ALS Flanker support forum, he's working long hours per day in the final stretch of the project. All the testing and tweaking takes time but the end result will be worth the effort & wait. I will also note that the above screens do not represent the final model or textures both exterior & VC. The final version will look much more realistic in that regard. I am confident you all will enjoy this model upon release.

As far as I am aware the gauge that should be next to the Drag Chute lever is a voltage gauge regarding the circuit power for the 4 main flight computers (according to the 4 pilot manuals that we have - but most are in Russian). The cabin pressure system is on the right side console near the Lighting panel. Again most systems are impracticable to model for the sim and it was never the intention to do so but there should be enough to keep you interested. I believe this aircraft is about pushing the flight envelope and John Cagle has done wonders in making this achievable.
This a new model and as such NO previous textures will work as there was no previous model and my FS9 versions were not simply upgraded. I have tried to map most of the textures for "skins" to 3 main textures and as such re-paints should be fairly simple and rapid to complete - I can do a texture set in about 4 hours.
