FW-190 Landing Gear Drop

Does anyone know if the "effect" of the landing gear dropping when the electric motor is hit can be added to an FW-190 DP file? It's something many pilots reported seeing when the electric motor was hit just right and I think it would make an interesting and realistic addition to any FW-190 DP file.

Howdy CW;

Somehow you'd have to link the damage in the DP to an animation in the MDL. Like breaking parts except it would trigger the "Cycle Landing Gear" Animation. Not sure exactly how that would be done but it seems to be the logical path, to me.

Thanks Pen. Seems like that's the way to go but unfortunatly that is well over my head in modeling. Guess fo rnow it'll just have to go on the back burner.

Hi gents,

let me add my comment. Although I worked on dp files for a while now, this is way beyond my skills as well, as I never tried modeling myself.

I wish some of our model tinkerers could take a look into it, since it would add a nice historical realistic touch to our ETO installs.
