A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Aircraft - German

Description: Rebuild of DIDIER Patrick (PAT_01) Focke-Wulf 190 A-5 II/JG 54 model. Fully animated with breaking parts and damage texture logics. Model is Multi LOD with working virtual cockpit. Textures are edits of the stock CFS3 Fw 190 textures.

Fantastic how you adapted the textures from CFS 3... Really appreciate your work...
I think some of the textures in CFS 3 are very, very nice... actually better (to me) than the stock CFS2...
Just like CFS2, HOWEVER, that annoying Asiatic pilot face... lol... so I recreated a couple of Germanic
looking pilot faces.. (will work on the life-vest and uniform next)...
One is a sort of SLUF kinda guy.. the other a sort of more "handsome type"
Available anytime if you wish to use them...

And here is the kapok life-vest

I cannot figure how the parts go on the model... so I could only redo the front...
if there is a way to do the back of the vest... all the better (let me know)....
As it is... I think this better represents
the typical kapok Luftwaffe live vest (not as the original texture... which
is a US type inflatable Mae-West)

As with the new pilot faces, available anytime if you wish to use it...

Small question...

When I got your FW 190 into CFS 2... it appears in the list of aircraft available... but it does not show...
like there is some problem with the visual model... Any suggestions?

If you have downloade it edit the model.cfg so that it says.

I recently installed CFS 2 (after I lost my main computers to burglars) and find that a lot of my 3rd party additions (aircraft)
just do not show on the list... they all have the usual air file, aircraft config, panel and config, sound, etc.
Do you know what this might be do to? BTW... your FW 190 shows fine after the correction you suggested...
I am at a loss... Help please... if you can...

per quanto riguarda il tuo problema, hai provato ad andare sul cfs2.exe nella tua installazione e ad azionarlo
in modalità compatibile con Win Xp sp3 e come amministratore??
Ho cercato di contattarti diverse volte con Skype ma è sempre scollegato...

sono perplesso perche il modello di Allen funziona bene... una volta che ho cambiato l'mdl...
ed I modelli standard funzionano anche... solo quelli aggiunti non vanno per niente...
cioe'... ne meno mostrano il visual model sullo schermo iniziale...???

Adesso ho lo Skype funzionante... saro a casa nel tardo pommerigio... forze troppo tardi per te...

If an aircraft is not listed it is likely related to the SOUND folder. Go to the SOUND folder of the aircraft that is not being listed. In the SOUND folder you will sound.cfg. If it has a bunch .wav than it is not likely the sounds. IF all it has is the sound.cfg open the sound.cfg.

It will look something like this.

alias=A6M2_Zero\sound

This tells the game to use the sound folder in the A6M2_Zero folder. The aircraft that is not being listed may be looking for a sounds for a aircraft you don't have.

Next go to the PANEL and check it. You should a panel.cfg. If it some .bmp image files than it is not likely the PANEL. IF all it has is the panel.cfg open the panel.cfg.

It will look something like this.

alias=A6M2_Zero\panel

This tells the game to use the panel folder in the A6M2_Zero folder. The aircraft that is not being listed may be looking for a penel for a aircraft you don't have.

Hello,

This plane shows up on the list in Free Flight, however the visual model does not show up in the preview window and if I try to actually load it in Free Flight, I get a "visual model cannot be displayed" error. I've tried converting the model with MS's conversion tool, but still no joy. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Edit: Allen's P-51D shows up and works properly.

There was an error with in the model.cfg. You must have downloaded it before gaucho_59 told me about it. Open the model.cfg with notepad/wordpad and delete all and than paste in

[models]
normal=fw190a8_wurger


and save.

Work has been on going for the 109g. It has been nothing but a pain in the rear for all angles. The model is scrach built by me and the CFS3 texture is f&#%ed up. Who evere did it need a kick in the rear end so hard... How the wings where layed out sucks... I had to remove them from the CFS3 texture and put them on there own 1024 textue sheet so I could fill in the gaps around the fuse.
