G21 float question

Hi all,
im going off my memory of setting up my controllers for FSX and the PBY5a,and getting the floats to retract correctly....

BUT

the other day i was watching video of a G21 landing and then pulling up to a dock that had people standing on it,my first thought was "uh oh,this is gonna be big" (to steal a phrase from kenny schrader),but just as the goose was turning to line up on the dock, the port float came up and the plane listed a bit to port.it was moving quickly still when i saw the port engine smoke a bit and the prop came to a halt..he then just greased it in to the dock with just a very slight "bimp" as Clouseau from the pink panther series would say.the folks on the dork just bowed thier heads slightly and grabbed the ropes...over and done in seconds.

is it possible to set up the floats to retract/descend individually in FSX by using FSUIPC?

IIRC the G21 wing-tip floats can be raised and lowered individually or both via the combination of switches above the pilot's head. You may need to set a camera if you don't have TrackIR.

Dave.
On my/grandfathers G-21B their is a separate switch to raise and lower each float......
this is located in the overhead.
Its the same for the FSX G-21
See picts.

Left Float, Both Floats, Right float.

It appears that the RETRACT_FLOAT_SWITCH_INC and DEC commands will take a parameter for right and left float. I did not see that earlier.
