Galileo Shuttlecraft at Space Center Houston

Now on permanent display at Space Center Houston, the Shuttlecraft from the Star Trek Original Series.
A year ago it was a mess. It had been sitting outside for almost 50 years in someone's back yard.
Thankfully, Adam Schneider has an understanding wife, because he bid around $70000 for it at an auction.

It became a labor of love.
Various restorers from all areas of expertise, including Auto and Boat have worked on the shuttlecraft for the past year.
Mr. Schneider has now donated the restored Star Trek shuttle prop/set to the NASA Johnson Space Center so that all may enjoy it.

Very cool! Be kind of cool to have the star trek shuttle for my flight sim goodies. 3 monitors where the windows are and lots of room in the back for Man cave minus glowing, sparkeling, vapor monstar that eats electricity.
