Gas ubf-2 wip

Spad54

SOH-CM-2025
Started out to do a full reboot of the QCF we did in 2008 but we decided to start with the UBF pretty much the same airfram but with the 220 Continental better performance. Here are a few wip shots

I still fly the hell out of your older FSX compatible QCF
version

Love this livery. The Waco collection have to be the most stunning biplanes ever built

WOW - the new cockpit looks really good in P3D...

I might have to buy that instead of chasing the DTG rainbow...so disappointed in their initial release.

meantime I have been flying the original GAS Waco's wings off -

This looks so simple and elegant compared with Alabeo's YMF-5. Not to knock that one - own it, like it, but I loves me some simple now and then and I suspect I will fly this one a lot more.

The Alabeo WACO is a representation of the brand new machines being built today, so their cockpit reflects current standards.
GAS models are true to the original, period aircraft and so are accurately sparse.

It's nice that they are still building them, and the Alabeo version is lovely, but in my heart I'm also 'period' - and my wife would agree with 'accurately sparse' as a description of my mind :)
