I downloaded this Posky Tubeliner but for some reason I don't have any gauges showing in the panel even though the cab file is in the panel folder.

In the panel folder there's a B737_800.cab file and the panel cfg looks like this ......

I've tried several downloads but I still can't get the gauges to show.

Can any one help please.

Thanks.

Pete.

Couldn't find that exact file by the description but found o738wasa.zip at FlightSim. Is it the same one? It has a more detailed panel cfg than yours.

Should add that when ever the word upgrade is used, suspect an earlier model that has everything and this one may alias certain parts to that earlier one.

Thanks, I'll check that one when I get home.

There were parts of the popup panel bmp's that were missing in this download.

Pete.

The Flightsim file is the same as the Avsim one.

I also downloaded the same version from the Posky site http://www.projectopensky.com/index.php?app=downloads&showcat=29

In all of them the gauges don't show.

I've copied across from the default 747 some of the gauge entries into this panel cfg , and they show, which makes me wonder if there's something wrong with the cab file in this download.

Annoying but fixable given time.

Pete.

possible, but not guaranteed, that the cab file in question is an FSX default gauge. I know that the default FSX 737 uses a cab file named B737_800 for many of its instruments. Other gauges with the same file name may exist, but if it is the FSX gauge, then you might be SOL.

Thanks, that would make sense.

Never considered it to be an FSX cab file.

I downloaded a several of the base packages from the Posky site and they all alias the default B737 panel.

Pete.

Hang on a tick...

G'day Pete. Happy New Year mate (we Greeks go on saying it the whole month, may as well do so here too)! :wavey:

deja vu...there was a similar discussion here on the POSKY Boeing 737-700C Dreamliner, a couple of weeks before Christmas.
People seemed to be having similar problems with the nice vc on that one too.

I tried to find the thread and couldn't; maybe poor eyesight though - lately I keep telling 'white' lies to atc;

Atc: 'Speedbird 073, traffic; Singapore 747 is half mile, 11 o'clock, same altitude - report them in sight!'
Me: 'Speedbird 073, Have the twaffic!' (just too embarressed to tell them I can't see a blasted dickie-bird!).

Anyway, Matt and Tom Clayton were there too, so they most likely remember things more accurately (ginormous -sized memory banks!).

The basic thing was that when downloading the aircraft (directly from Posky) we had to download a seperate pack for panel etc.
Significantly, we all ended up with a very nice aircraft, a very nice working VC including instruments, and several nice US military paints thrown in.

Would this panel not work in the 800 series also?

Wish I could help, but with CRS and ADD, my memory ain't exactly firing on all eight these days! :isadizzy:
