I used to have a gps100 gauge that had a preloaded list of Florida destinations. I lost it when my computer crashed. Does anyone know where I can find it? Thanks for you interest.

Hal

this sounds like Chuck Dome's programmable GPS gauge for cfs1&2;
search flightsim/all files for gps100
you'll have to program it for Florida

Do you looking for list of Florida, or GPS100 gauge ?

... and .... how can it work with FS2004 ...? I tried, but without success...

... :salute:

hmmm, interesting.
after reading SOLOBO's post,
I went to FlightSim, downloaded the GPS100
and installed it my tigercat 2D panel.
low and behold, it works in FS9.
and to top it off,
it's got Florida locations already programed in.
heck, it's even got LEESBURG.

sorry SOLOBO, i don't know why it didn't work for you.
if you want help figuring it out,
i would be happy to help.

mmmh... interesting to... Well, I do like this:

1 - I put the GPS100 application in the FS9 Gauges folder. ( ha! right, not the gauge...)
2 - Because needed, I put the VB40032.dll in the FS9 Gauges folder to.
3 - I open the GPS100 application
4 - I enter one position from scratch. The GPS100 application creates a gauge file.
For that, it works very well...
5 - Of course, my aircraft is OK with the panel.
I open FS9, and... sorry, in french in the text...
But maybe I did not follow the same way that you... Effectively, I talk about an application,
maybe you have another way to use a GPS100 gauge file, but not the application file...
I should have begun with the right description of my problem... Maybe no the same one...

By the way, any help will be welcome...

i have to admit, my French is not that good.
i failed it in the 9th grade.

can you see the GPS100A on your panel?
if not, did you add it to your panel.cfg?
also, the GPS100A.GAU file must go into the main Gauges folder.

if you decide to make changes to it,
do that in the gps110a folder,
then copy/paste the updated GPS100A.GAU file into the Gauges folder
and replace the old one.

I have to admit, a web translator helps me sometimes...
smilo, thank's ! Tests and feedback soon...

Thank you Smilo !

it works... it is not possible to create a gauge file from scratch, it will not work, but if we modify the existant file, it works well... Smilo, you're the best... :salute: ... many thank's to you...

i am pleased that it works for you
and am happy to be of assistance.

..but about being "the best"?
let's not get carried away.

mmmhhh... carried away ? not at all... In france, it's an usual formulation to mean a satisfaction ...
very usual... " tu es le meilleur..."

another way to explain that: barrier of language, but only sometimes..
Here a blatant case of misunderstanding, but not grave...

the first in this forum since 2005... Do you want to make a wish?

Smilo, I wanted to mean, that in this case you were better than me...

And thank's a lot again.
