Folks:
As from previous forum entries, I had a major crash with my Win-XP Pro Gaming machine.
In the past 4 weeks, I finally got all of my backed-up CFS3 stuff loaded.
I have a Clean load of CFS3 (thanks to MW Mulit-install), my older bloated load of CFS3, Korea, MAW, ETO, PTO_Sol, & PTO_R-S.
I tried to run some past-built CFS3 missions I planned to upload to th SOH site, so I did several test fly's to confirm they all work.
That is, all but 1 mission.
This is my latest (pre-crash) Historical Kill the Bismarck mission using the GC_MTB project Drivable Brit Vosper Torpedo Boat.
Since I plan to create some PT-109 type missions for PTO_Solomons, I tried to make these past CFS3 specific missions work.
Well, I remembered to use the Scroll-Lock button, and the first time this mission ran just fine, and the MTB boat worked OK.
But since then, every time I try to "fly" this mission with the drivable MTB, the boat noses over, and the game locks then crashes.
I tried it with and without the Scroll-Lock button pushed. I tried restarting my machine. I tried pulling the CD, restarting, then loading CFS3 again.
No difference. The MTB boat noses down with engines at full, and the game locks, then crashes.
I have all 7 of my CFS3 games loaded into the Win-7 Premium C:\Programs (x86)\ folder (with MW's CFS3 Multi-Installer loaded), and all other drivable ships, ducks, and other drivable vehicles work fine.
Seems it is just the GC_MTB boat that is at issue.
Has anyone else had this issue with their Win-7 Premium 64-Bit machine.
I'm at my wits-end, trying several Mission Builder changes, hacking the mission's .xml file for Take-Off or simply Turn at "0" Speed, "0" Altitude, etc.
Only thing not tried is hacking the MTB's .xml file... And I'm not sure just what to hack in this file !!
If you can help get this drivable boat to work in your Prime Fully Altered Load of CFS3, on a Win-7 Premium machine, with the Full GC_MTB Project installed, please advise.
Regards,
