Yes DennyBoy, I agree with you, George will be missed.

Let me put it this way, when ever I want to listen to "Real Country Music" I put one of my George Jones C/D's
on along with some Patsy Cline, alittle Hank Williams Sr. You know... Real Country Music.

George was my favorite. Its Sad

I totally agree with Blaze and Denny Boy....you want "Country Music" then you need to listen to people like "Possum Jones." What is labeled Country Music these days is ....well, I don't really know what to call it.:isadizzy:

RIP George . George Jones was always one of my favorites . I didn't realize he served in the Marine Corps 50-53 during the Korean War but never got out of California .

Hey All,

Very sad day yesterday. RIP Possum.

This one is often called the greatest country music song of all time...

There is no way you can think of George without thinking of Tammy... This is one of my favorites...

They are together again.

Geroge Jones RIP

George 'Possum' Jones was one of the great country singers. Now can not hear good county music on the car radio. When home I listen to streaming county music on Hartland http://www.hpr.org/ using Winamp. The great country singers such as Johnny Cash, Hank Williams senior have welcomed George home to sing with them.
