German airbases in France

BeauBrummie

Home for tea and tiffin!
I'm working on another Sea Eagle mission with Ronnybengt this time. This pack is the first for ETO 1.20. However despite having several KG 40 bases, the crucial bases for us Lorient, the home of the heavy fighters of V/KG 40 is still missing. I have managed to get Clive to mentor us in this. Bless you Clive!

My question is how much of the original French base would the Germans leave intact after several years of use and what of their own would they put in?. We have a map, but it doesn't have that level of detail as it's the original French base.

I cant' believe it!! With crossram's work on Keroman, my dream will soon come true!

So many thanks to all of you.

What we're looking to do is create a base in much the same way we created some of the Cornish bases. That is to make a stand-alone of a current base and then customise the buildings etc. Clive has suggested we use ACC Laarge. It is German (hence the thread), but is the best choice. I've never built an airfeild from scratch, so unti I learn how this'll get us up and running.
