So I made this photo-realistic Germany scenery for CFS3.

Hope you like it

I have all four of these, published by BAS12 back in 2018, set up in JSGME so I can install them on a temporary basis. They're good for a bit of fun every once in a while.

I use JSGME to be able to quickly change these out. The Pacific and Desert ones look pretty decent as well. The Coral Atoll textures look fine but they need to be paired with the right map.

Default CFS3 (top) versus the German Scenery (bottom).

I really must get into using JSGME which has sort of scared me. It could be very useful for TOW installs. Maybe I will learn and do a "how to" for here . WRT the scenery, my first thought was that the fields were too 'modern'; more rectangular and probably less hedge rows. However on Andy's machine, the colours look fine. I mighr test on the upcoming TOW2 to see if it makes any real difference.

No reason to fear JGSME. In fact, on a basic level it is quite easy to use (I haven't mastered the single JGSME install/multiple CFS3 installs - I think Andy has. So I am using a separate JGSME install for each of my CFS3 installs). It's a breeze to try out something new in your install because you can always go back to the situation before with a single mouseclick: the program makes a backup of every original file it replaces in your target directory.

Things only get a little more complicated when a mod replaces a file that another mod already has replaced: Then the second mod should include the changes of the first mod as well if you want to have them both. So stacking mods requires a bit more fiddling. But the good thing is that when you use the program faithfully in a vanilla install, you can go back to vanilla without forgetting to remove/change back any altered file...

I live not far from Lake Constance, is it also in this scenery? Otherwise I have him only in CFS 2 with the German scenery and the Alps
