• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

I've searched. And I cannot find the information (though I know it is here someplace) where I can find out how to rid my screen of the "cone" that shows the direction of your next or assigned target/ I have never flown with this setting before but my son inlaw had my computer (Darn him) for the last 4 days and he thoroughly enjoyed. But when I went back to my pilot (whether it was Brits, French, or Germans) no muttah what, I have this damn cone. Now, i NEVER flew CFS3, CFS2 or 1 so is the setting within that config? Where can I turn this blasted arcade like thingy off at? Thanks

Go into the workshop, CFS3 config button, file, custom settings, window, overides, tick the box "disable target cone". :)

You can easily switch it on and off ingame; it's "I" or "shift+I". As long as one has no TrackIR, it can be helpful sometimes.

or 'I' will toggle it off as well.....but Siggi's answer is the way to go for a fix that'll stop the son-in-law from fiddling again.

ahh.....beaten to the post by the faster typist again lol!

Thank you SIR
