At the present time when in the cockpit, I hit the keyboard spacebar to lower and raise my view over the dashboard. I want to ( move ) bind that to a button on my Thrustmaster Throttle Quadrant , having trouble locating the "camera tab" to tweak , anybody ?

Regards

I'm not in FS2020 right now, but in the control settings you can search for a command by it's keystroke.

On that topic.. for some reason most of my planes load with the pilot too far forward!
Where does one look to change that permanently?

That would be the camera.cfg file. I've had just a little luck tweaking a couple of those, but it's hit and miss at times. If you're good at deciphering VCR instructions, the SDK docs cover the config files:

Thanks, would you believe my flightsim PC just spat the dummy?
I'll delve once it's alive, but I am reminded that you can somewhere set the cockpit view for IFR or VFR or landing.
I think I may have changed that somewhere in the main options.

I think the default key is the spacebar for raising your viewpoint a few inches. I also have that command replicated with a button on my X52's stick. I find with several planes that it's useful to be able to see over the nose when I'm higher, but then I can drop back down to see the instruments without having to let go of either the throttle or stick.
