Some images of the fine Gloster Gladiator by FSAddon. According to the lead pilot of the Shuttleworth Collection's Gloster Gladiator, the canopy is always kept open through all operations, just as originally in service, as fumes will otherwise build within the cockpit. Rain and/or cold weather, may however make the pilot decide otherwise.

Nice shots John. I've always liked the Gladiator, it just looks right - rugged and workmanlike - butch and beautiful at the same time.

Yep, it is the FSAddon Gladiator - the most accurate/detailed reproduction of the aircraft available for FSX.

There should also (finally) be a repaint of The Fighter Collection's Gladiator coming shortly (which may very likely be flying again this year - since being grounded with the rest of the TFC fleet several years ago, it is one of the last to remain to be re-approved a permit to fly, with much of the collection up to strength again).

Thanks for the lovely shots John and others, and for your kudos. I'll forward them to Simon, our developer. Simon is only very rarely 'connected', living deep down in South Africa, but he really appreciates this kind of comments that I always forward him.

By the way, the Gloster is one of our products that qualifies for the 65+ Discount (read more about that in our shop and website). :wavey:
 
Thanks John for putting this bird in the spotlight again! A very nice addon which I've flow much on my sim. But I do hope some nice repaints may come available ..:wiggle:.

I hoped to do some repaints but could never open the files after downloading - shame really
 
It's great to see the direction this thread has gone! I'll do anything I can to try and help support those I feel who deserve it.

I'll try to finish up the repaint of N5093 (the TFC machine) tonight.
