Gmax off "Turbosquid"?

Just wanted to make sure on this before the install. Is this one a current and
working version to use?

Yes, there's only one version usable and that's it. You have to register with TurboSquid to get the unlock key for it - sometimes people don't get an answer - but you can also get a patch for that from fsalpha. It's called the gmax registration workaround.

Make sure you get all the help, tutorial and materials files! The fsalpha link is another place to get gmax 1.2.

LoL,....thanks Hairyspin. Yeah,checked my e-mail all I got was the "E-mail confirmation" so I'm looking around for the registration ID that wasnt there! Havent started and allready going "Aggro"!

Great! Open gmax and the Help, select Tutorials and do them in order. Each one teaches you new tools and builds on the previous tute in sequence.

Use the Help to look up words or tool names you do not understand.

You can't hurt anything or break anything.

I did a brief gmax introduction for new users that may be of some help. It simply gives you an overview of gmax.
