• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Gmax registration

Worked last time I tried it (just a few months back) - I think it is an automated response, so might just have glitched. Maybe give it another try, if not I seem to recall a work around/patch being available at Simviation.

Well, FSDS is more my tool, but I need Gmax to change a building I'm allowed to use for my Schiphol scenery. Harry Biard is teaming up wth me to finish the job.

If it's any consolation I had some issues getting GMAX up and running when I built this Win 7/64 machine as for some reason it refused to accept my previous registration code. I went off to the Turbosquid site to go through the registration process and got a new code and it installed fine with that one.

It was only when I went to save the new code in my text file I keep with the reg. info. in it that I noticed it was the exact same code as I had before when I installed GMAX to Win XP years ago! :isadizzy:

I am wondering if they aren't just pumping out one code for all now it's no longer supported.

It's actually just two simple Registry entries that're made via a Cookie when you officially "Register" via TurboSquid.
