A new entry has been added to Add-Ons Library, category CFS 2 Other - Vehicles

Description: GMax SU_85 Tank Destroyer for CFS2
GMax model of the SU_85 self propelled anti tank gun.
This has been modeled as a ship.
I had problems trying to set it as a .veh model.
Someone else should be able to do this.

Cheers
Stuart

Nice job on these Stuart. I assume these are compiled as objects and not aircraft? If so, setting them up as vehicles is easily done in the [MISC_DATA] section of the dp. The category and type are defined there. These would be defined like this:

unit_family=3
category=21
allegiance=2 for Germany, 5 for Russia
min_speed=0
cruise_speed=12
max_speed=24
entered_service=1/1/43 or whatever date is appropriate
crew=4 or whatever is appropriate

Here is list of all the dp unit family and category code numbers.

Welp, Nope. Just downloaded and you've compiled these as .mdl's and not object .bgl's. These would have to go into the Aircraft folder, and have the same type of cfg and dp as an aircraft as well as an air file.

Is there any chance you can re-compile them as an object instead of a model? Then the object .bgl can go in the SCENEDB/veh folder and a simple .dp is all that is needed,
