Gmax torpilleur d'escadre class "Le Hardi" (destroyer)
Hi,
The beta version of "Le Hardi" class destroyer is uploaded. You can get the package at the "Royale French Navy" site.
Class "Le Hardi" was designed to operate with the fast battleships Dunkerque and Strasbourg just before WWII. They never face axe's forces...too late.
"Le Hardi" was a very fast destroyer , reaching a maximum speed of 39.1 knots during her sea trials on 6 November 1939.
All were scuttled 27/11/<wbr>1942 in "Toulon" and "La Seyne-sur-Mer" to prevent them falling into German hands.
Class "Le Hardi" was the base of the T47 post war french destroyer class ("Surcouf").
You can see a ficticious "what if" carrier group video ( "Béarn", "Le Hardi", "Mameluk" and french contrat G36 not delivered before the 1940 fall) here .
cheers,
JMC
