God bless Ford Motor Company...

Little update:
Xrays came ok, there is no internal bleeding but one of my "false ribs" is slight misplaced, and it explains a lot some of the pain i have, nothing serious, but i´ll have to wear a girdle until next year and play it easy on sports (if it hurts, dont do it..that´s Dr´s logic for you), also i have a strained neck due to overhead airbag blast, today it felt way better than yesterday (thanks Ibuprofen), but overall, i came out of this in pretty good shape (spectacular as my kid says).
As for the a****le that did this, he is still on detention (his family moved him to a private clinic, with police guard) and is going to pay for all expense incurred by me and my family, also dealing with my auto insurance ,etc..apparently this is his 3rd time doing this, and his older son is determined he will never drive again (he is a widow).
So besides some pain here and there, is great to be flavor of the month at home...hey i can get all the ice cream i want!..

Glad you're feeling better Prowler.

I've been there and got the t-shirt to go with it. Got slammed in the drivers door by a Grand Cherokee when I was in my old beater Chevy Celebrity (No bags) Did the broken rib and bruised kidney deal. My car was "C" shaped after the impact.

Thing of it all was I got hit in the intersection 200 feet from the fire station I worked the Ambulance out of....

Nothing beats being cut out of your car with the Jaws by your own fire department and riding in the same ambulance you work out of.

Was a month and a half before I was cleared to work again.
