Going back home for a couple days....

My aunt Sally is almost 90, and although she is in fairly good health, I think maybe it's time to go back to Indy this weekend for a short visit. I was born/raised in Indy, but haven't lived there since '79. The last time I was home was about 9 years ago.

Time to stock up on audio book recordings. That, and talk radio are what keep me awake on trips.

His show is, but mostly it's Paul Harvey Jr or someone else doing it now.
 
My trip is in doubt now, although I will probably still go. My sister in law just called. Apparently there was a bad fire at their house; no details yet as to whether it is a complete loss. I do know that their three cats are dead. Her husband is down in Atlanta, at some trade show.

But now here is the suspicious part. This makes the fourth house or apartment that her sister has lived in when it burned down. She admitted to my wife that she did start the fire in one of them. And in each situation, they were in a bad way, financially (which they are presently).

I don't want them staying at our house, for obvious reasons, but my wife didn't want to discuss that. Not a good situation. Anyway, things are about to get interesting here.
