• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

With Street View in version 6 you can go seamlessly from shot to shot. I am 'driving' around the streets using only the cursor keys.

It's like a driving simulator!

(To get into Street View click and drag on the yellow man next to the zoom/navigate buttons)

I'd heard GE was becoming more like a browser...is this different from Google Maps Streetview? (We have 100% coverage in NZ and it's great)

I like it , but it takes too long to focus (maybe it's my computer??).......

Yes, you do have to pause to let it catch up with itself but it's a huge improvement over the previous version when you had to keep leaving Street View and coming back to it further up the road. I've been 'driving' myself all over my recent holiday (and finding all the short cuts I could have taken).

Agree 100%.
I can actually 'drive' around the lake wildlife sanctuary opposite my home.
Another great way to 'waste' time ........:ernae:
