Colonel Batdorf passed into the wild blue August 11th .He was with the FGth .since it was first organized and by wars end he was a full Colonel with Zempkes wolfpack. I knew Gordy and hunted in So Dakota many falls and many poker games.We never talked much about the war. He was a first rate guy and friend.Shafto
