The instruments certainly are nice. Since I spent 90% of my time in-cockpit they certainly are an attraction.
On the other hand there's either a lot of artistic license or some sketchy modeling in other parts.
- I've searched several hundred DC-3 photos and have yet to find any with that large, chunky top intake on the cowls. There are multiple variations but the modeler must have found a one-off to copy. (I'd be happy to see a photo)
-Again, there are numerous versions of ADF 'teardrop' antennas but this one seems 'off'.
- Paint schemes are 'artistic' but when reproducing a known aircraft it's nice to be somewhere between 'close' and perfect' . the paint of Buffalo's C-FLFR.. well I can't find an image with that wide fuselage stripe anywhere

-I don't know (or care) about the pricing of X-plane models, but for $40 I'd sort of expect a DC-3 to have a right-hand pax door or a left-hand pax door or a left-hand cargo+pax door but this one seems to be infernally hard to load...
-speaking of one-offs, it's nice to see a model of the sole DC-3 amphib, but the mis-proportioned wheels do detract...

...but the panel looks nice.
