Got a pocketfull of money?

i had a look at his property on google earth, lots of junk layin around...but i did spot a sherman tank.seems to be running as i saw tracks in the dirt infront of it.

Did anyone go to the new movie "Fury" and watch a sherman wipe out a tiger? I think the ratio was about 5 or 6 to one shermans to defeat a tiger.

All of these have since sold. All of the Buchons (reportedly 9 airframes in total, including the two-seat variant) and the Spitfire are headed to Europe for restoration to fly, while the Mustang is staying in the U.S. with its new owner, for eventual restoration to fly. One of the Buchons was wheeled out a month back, and started-up on the first try!

Besides the aircraft, Connie Edwards does have a lot of 'stuff'. Numerous Merlin engines, P-51 cowls and canopies and other parts (at one time, he owned at least a dozen P-51D's (1970's/80's), all of which have since been sold to various owners and restored over the years, except for the last one he held onto). In the climate where he's located, the chance of corrosion is nill, so these aircraft have fared incredibly well in Connie Edwards care over the last 40+ years.

makes me wonder if jack roush tried to get all those merlins...i heard he has a stockpile of parts ect and has had crackshafts built or something..oh my fin god..i just heard one of the dead deputies in town today was a friend of mine...damn

Can anyone provide the lat/long for the property? I have looked on GE but cannot seem to find it.

Search for: Edwards Lucian Wells Ranch Airport, ICAO: TX31

I should do x-country to Midland and fly over the place! To the NE of the runway you can see the "castle" like estate mentioned in the AOPA article.
