• There seems to be an uptick in Political comments in recent months. Those of us who are long time members of the site know that Political and Religious content has been banned for years. Nothing has changed. Please leave all political and religious comments out of the forums.

    If you recently joined the forums you were not presented with this restriction in the terms of service. This was due to a conversion error when we went from vBulletin to Xenforo. We have updated our terms of service to reflect these corrections.

    Please note any post refering to a politician will be considered political even if it is intended to be humor. Our experience is these topics have a way of dividing the forums and causing deep resentment among members. It is a poison to the community. We appreciate compliance with the rules.

Timeline:
14 Jan 09
4:30 PM - Ordered OFF-BHAH
6:30 PM - Asked wife if I could buy OFF-BHAH

15 Jan 09
Disk shipped from California

20 Jan 09
2:20 PM - Check mailbox - Disk arrived
2:25 PM - Begin install
2:45 PM - Install complete including Patch 1.1 (without a hitch)
2:50 PM - Create pilot and start game
3:00 PM - First pilot dies in sideslip stall too close to the ground.

Observations:
- Graphics, both the aircraft and the terrain, are amazing
- The new flight models will take some getting used to, much less forgiving than Phase II (I only tried the DH-2 and Dr.1 at 90%)
- Sounds are much better/more realistic - engines, machine guns, etc.
- Enemy AI does seem to have a clue as to what's going on, don't know about wingmen, yet.

Overall Opinion - AWESOME! :applause:

Ordered on the 14th, arrived 20th. That's six days....subtract weekend and a holiday....three days. Can't complain about that at all. I think it was a very smooth and seamless transaction. Well done people.:ernae:
Ask my wife? I've been preparing her for this for two years! It's the equipment upgrade that's going to be a little tricky.

Order on the 14th.......was one of the first to post on simhq forums about ordering. Didn't mention anything to wife about it when she got home.

9:25pm on the 14th---- Dang credit card company call asking about a $59.00 charge on my card...........One problem wife answer the phone.

9:27 pm---- wife proceeded to gnaw on my backside.

Jan 19 ---- got up the never to ask wife about if she cancel the order or not when card company called. Took another gnawing, but at least I know she didn't cancel it.

Jan 21 --- still waiting for it to arrive..... will be watching mailman today to see if he's walking around with a silk scarf around hi neck....if so my hands will be next.

Congrats! Still waiting here, rural mail delivery driver has instructions to fire 3 large (75mm) sky rockets into air upon arrival of BHaH, in case I am dozing! Gave them to her the day I ordered!

I got mine in the mail today.It installed perfectly with no problems at all.While searching thru the skins for the alb d3 i was happy to find the one that my great great uncle flew in ww1.the pic is of him with the red baron.His name was Sabastian Festner.A big thanks to the OFF team on this fantastic sim.:applause:View attachment 72312
